Who We Are
The Veterans' Heat Factory is a convener of accessible resources, education, and support services to offer our veterans hope and healing. VHF facilitates veterans with linkage to recovery and mental health services, reducing homelessness among veterans, acquiring education, job skills, recreational activities, mentoring and anything needed to help and thank our veterans. Long term goals include a workforce through manufacturing with veterans with service-connected disabilities, helping veterans who have significant barriers to employment.
What We Do
Establishing relationships with organizations to facilitate support systems for our military community.
Increase public awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress.
Educate veterans and their families about PTSD.
Provide workshops and case management, counseling for both veterans and their families.
Assist spouses, children and other family members, in the healing process of the individual with PTSD (Too often other treatment options fail to appropriately address the impact of PTSD on the family).
Keep Veterans and PTSD in the media and general public through regular press releases and email newsletters, as well as PSA’s, websites and Facebook.
Raise awareness of the increasing needs of the military community through public events, media outlets, social media, service organizations, and churches.
