United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay, Inc. (UCP) was organized in 1953 by parents whose children were diagnosed with cerebral palsy. These parents recognized that all people have the right to achieve their full potential as part of mainstream society. UCP offers a wide array of services to children and adults with over 200 different types of disabilities or a developmental delay.

The mission of United Cerebral palsy of Tampa Bay, inc is guide and assist families and individuals with any disability or other barriers to achieve their full potential, resulting in community inclusion and independence.
