Volunteer: Animal Foster

Do you love animals, but only want a short-term commitment? Then this opportunity is the perfect fit for you! We need volunteers to take animals into their home on a temporary basis for the following reasons:

Puppies and kittens too young to be adopted who need a place to grow and feel safe. Medical cases where an animal needs time to recover or a place to stay until they are altered. Socialization-- some of the animals we receive do not understand how to be a pet. They have fought their entire life and only know starvation or harmful interactions with humans. Fostering allows the animal to feel safe and loved until they find their forever home. Shelter break-- when an animal has been at the shelter for so long that they are stressed and need time to decompress.
