Dawn Center of Hernando County is looking for volunteers who have a few hours each week or a few days each month to assist with our donation inventory. 

This job is simple enough that almost anyone could do it!  But we do need volunteers who are available to work weekday business hours. This job can be done by students, but a parent or guardian must be present. All Dawn Center volunteers must complete a volunteer application and background screening.

Dawn Center relies on the generous community of Hernando County to help fund projects that grants sometimes do not cover. We are looking for volunteers to help in event planning for our annual fundraisers and help in fundraising efforts within the county. 

A qualified volunteer will help in making phone calls, site visits to sponsors, and attending committee planning sessions and helping at the events themselves. Some of these tasks can be done from the comfort of your own home.

Dawn Center of Hernando County is looking for an administrative volunteer that would be available 1 day a week to assist with administrative assistance. 

We are looking for someone who has experience working with computers, Microsoft Word and Excel trained, and decent math and computing skills. The position would need to be for someone available weekday business hours. 

All Dawn Center volunteers must complete a volunteer application and background screening.
