Learn to prepare taxes and make a difference in your community at the same time! Volunteer to help local residents by preparing their tax return free of charge through United Way's VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program.
You will become IRS trained and certified to provide free tax preparation for low-to-moderate income families who need assistance with their tax returns. As a volunteer, you will work alongside community members and help prepare hundreds of tax returns in Hernando County.
