The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties (PHELC) conducts two signature events throughout the year that will need volunteers for a variety of needs: such as physical assistance with set up and tear down, assisting vendors and staff as duties are assigned and many more! Both events are ideal for students in need of volunteer hours.
**If you are under 18, you must have an adult with you (teacher, student, parent, or other guardian) at our events. ELC is not responsible for volunteers who are minor and not accompanied by an adult.
PHELC's Early Learning Conference supports early childhood education for preschool teachers, child care centers and community members passionate about early learning. Location: Pasco County, FL Date: Saturday, October 17, 2020.
Storybook Forest is a community event with a mission to support the importance of early literacy. This free event is known for making storybooks come to life! All children's activities and entertainment is centered on children's books! Storybook Forest is also ideal for community advocate groups who want to volunteer including rotary groups. Location: Crews Lake Wilderness Park Shady Hills (Pasco County Parks & Recreation). Date: Saturday, March 6, 2021.
